PIXMA iP8500 is an Inkjet Photo Printer with ChromaPLUS for richer and more vibrant color reproduction that will satisfy photographers for professional photos. The addition of red and green ink tanks will extend the color spectrum to a level only achieved by professional printers and the difference is very clear.
Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) that uses high-performance print heads with a stunning 6144 nozzle, shooting consistent and precise droplets, as small as 2 picoliters. This feature-rich printer also lets you print without a computer. You can simply connect a PictBridge compatible digital camera or DV camcorder, and print.
You can also produce unlimited photos in 4″ x 6″, 5″ x 7″ and 8.5″ x 11″ sizes, with the look and feel of traditional photos. Speaking of speed, For an unlimited print size of 4″ x 6″ takes only about 21 seconds. Plus Hi-Speed USB interface also enables fast data transfer from your computer and reduces total printing time.
The Canon Think Tank System with its eight individual ink tanks allows you to only replace the outdated color, rather than all unused ink cartridges. Plus, the unique low-ink sensor also tells you when the ink levels are low, so you’re ready to just insert a new tank as needed.
